One disciplined read, not gospel

Metals Cycle Report is a price-action-first cycles site for gold, silver, platinum and — first-class — the gold:silver ratio. It is the companion to the Swing Trading with Cycles work on paragraph.com/@swingtrading and YouTube.

Cycles are measured low to low, from price action across multiple timeframes. There is no claim about when a low is “supposed” to happen. The swing-low engine is the same one that runs live trading (SwingLowPro core) — a confirmed cycle low requires the bar after the low to take out its high (a 2-Up or 3), never an inside bar.

Automated counts and published analysis

Charts use automatically detected swing lows. Published essays are separately dated interpretations and may disagree with the automated counts. Any applied annotations are identified on the relevant market page.

About the data

ETF and futures history comes from Yahoo Finance through yfinance. ETF prices are share prices, not spot metal quotations. Ratios use continuous futures series, which can be affected by contract rolls. Snapshots refresh after market close when the publisher is available; each page shows its last observation date.

Cycle counts are automated swing-based estimates. Yearly bars are a broad structural view, not proof of an eight-year cycle. Historical patterns can change; research here is educational and is not personalized investment advice.
